Thanks cramer! 3 years of dreaming and I think it looks like it should so far. It's a lot of work for one woman. I would sit out there and tell myself I'd beat this yard into submission... right after it beats me! :mrgreen: A lot of thought has been devoted to this. I hope it turns out as great as my mind has made it.

Wish I wouldn't have lost a day to rain today. I wanted to work on it but it turns out I can't even step on it!

Looking at 1"-1.5" of rain tonight into tomorrow. Flash flood warning in effect (won't affect me as much as others)... Just getting ready for a heck of a storm which indefinately puts my site prep on hold. :| At least it will bring in the cold front which will make digging next week tolerable during the day light hours.

It rained enough these last 2 days for me to get absolutely nothing done. I'm working a 16 hr shift today n have the weekend off only to see more rain!

I can't do anything but look at it. So much for swimming by the 4th. It ain't gonna happen.

I've had it with this weather and I don't know if I have the will to finish it after all this rain!!! I went out yesterday and it's just not dried up enough for me to sink a shovel! I noticed that 5 days of constant rain has washed the outter ledge down onto my level trench. I laid a level on it and it's pulled up mud and stuck to the level.

I asked Hubs if he was going to get the bobcat and he said yes.

Although it is nice and sunny right now, we are expecting heavy thunderstorms for the next several days. :grrrr: I just can't work on an already saturated ground. I'm throwing up the white flag and waiting for the bobcat. This weather has been down right awful. :thumbdown:

Since it is crummy here today... We are rearranging furniture and cleaning inside *eyeroll*

I hear ya with the rain Casey. It's been the same here too. Any where between 9-12 inches for the month of June.

it's been down right discusting! On the front page of the paper yesterday was a washed out road n the title read...

It was like a monsoon!!!

Funny thing is, I don't have a blister on my hands... just callouses from weight training at the gym for the last 3 years! :mrgreen:

Nah!!! lol

I fought one person in the last year and I promise you that person will never hit me again. She pulled my hair and scratched my face in one swipe and I brought her head waist side and gave her 2 upper cuts to the side of the head and threw her to the ground and she was done.

I don't work out to fight. I do it to stay in shape and feel good. I'm sorry someone felt the need to touch me... She was sorry too! :mrgreen:

Those fire fighters need it to fight the wild fires. I saw on the news today that 19 men were killed in Arizona fighting a wild fire when it engulfed them. :cry:

No "i give" !!!!

Adaptability means being able to change as circumstances require it. You have displayed your ability to recognize that life will bring us unforeseen challenges and if we are to honor our values and goals we will adjust our plan to reach the ultimate goal. Good call on allowing you husband to help with the backhoe and by all means you will have plenty of manual labor still to do!
