Does anyone have experience with installing a rotary encoder to work with an auto cover and an Omnilogic automation system? I'd like to know what options are available to enable the water feature lock out as well as the scale back mode.

It's a Coverstar. They are talking about installing a battery operated encoder which I am not happy about. On a pool that cost north of 150k, I am not worrying about changing batteries. There has to be a better option.
