Like the title says - beware.. I put in 4 bags of Morton’s Professional’s choice night before last. Brushed it around, let it circulate & ran Robert the robot yesterday. This morning I went to clean his basket & here’s what I found - at least a 1/4 cup of tiny rocks 😳

I just got what the wally world had - I usually like the diamond crystals - it dissolves quickly. We don’t have alot of water softener salt around here.

All course salt is a naturally derived product. It comes from the evaporation of seawater. It will always contain impurities and particulates. What you don’t want is salt that is processed and mixed with an anti-caking agent like sodium ferrocyanide. That’s what causes metal stains from salt addition. I’ll take a bit of dirt and rocks any day.

I have just never had so many- maybe it’s because Robert does such a fine job so I never noticed it before?

Your post came too late! I dumped 8 bags of these in a few days ago, but thankfully I had no issues, and it dissolved very fast. I tend to use Diamond but I couldn't resist the ease of Wally World loading it into my car for me! Before Diamond I used salt from the pool store, and it wound up causing iron staining, so I think I'll take rocks if I have to... but warning taken, I'll stick with the Diamond kind when possible.
