Any tips for keeping the electrical cord from kinking up in pool? Having just replaced the cord on my Maytronics active 20 after just two years, I'd like to keep it in good shape. About a month ago it would stop cleaning after about 20-30 minutes. If I tugged on the cord, it would start up agan. Pinch-a-penny took a look and said it had a bad cord, so they had it replaced.
Tips...😎

Harry,

Here are some of the things that work for me...

1. Don't tightly coil the cord up on the caddy.
2. Only put the amount of cable needed in the pool.
3. If you leave your robot in the pool all the time... Take it out once a week, disconnect the cable from the power supply and stretch it out on the deck. I often un-twist it and let it lay in the sun for an afternoon. I do this at the same time I am cleaning the filter.

They all twist, but the ones with a swivel don't twist quite as much.

Thanks,

Jim R.
