RoBot maintenance.

unfortunately, not everyone will follow those methods. if there was no need to shock the pool every pool store wouldn't sell it. it's a common practice for many people who have their pools serviced or people who are looking up common articles online or following pool store advice. to say dolphin is clueless about their own product is a bit overkill.

They are clueless on what 4 ppm FC means. It is meaningless without a CYA level. At 0 CYA, it horribly harsh. At 80 ppm CYA, it is essentially non existent.

hence why I think they mention 4ppm. if they don't know what 4 ppm FC means then they won't know what CYA means either.

Stores (of any kind, really) don't exist to help the customer. They exist to sell. Corporate stores are even worse and they spend millions a year trying to increase their dollars per transaction. Customers cease to exist as people and are viewed as metrics that they can manipulate.

They all reach rock bottom at some point and end up here. Over 1/3 of a million members and counting per the ticker at the bottom of the page. :)

No worries. You're seeing the mismanaged pools of the average pool owner with no clue what they're doing. Liners and finishes are ruined also, along with the robots. Our members don't have those problems, or, we fix then right up once they get here, and no *longer* have those problems. (y)

Have a read to see how we roll.
