Robot for large shallow splash pad?

Will a robot cleaner be able to climb to the splash pad? And will one run in 5-6" (top step depth) water? We love our Roomba inside and would like to simplify the pool cleaning process. I'm concerned that it may not work for our pool. Any experience or advice?

This is not our actual pool, but an older display model. But it's basically the same.

None that I know of? Mine (Dolphin Discovery, aka Maytronics S200) requires to be covered about 3/4 in water as the water propels it. Mine gets to the top 2 steps and has to give up at that point and go back under like a turtle......
