RJ60+ ready to go just before a winter storm...

Got my VSP and RJ60+ ready to go. Salinity is in range. Pool is heated to 80.

Issue is that in true South Dakota fashion, we have a band of cold temps coming through with some snow. Given my current CYA/FC 80/8 I was thinking of running at 30% for now until things warm up and we actually use the pool again in a week. Or should I just leave it off for now?

As long as the pool water stays above 60 degrees then you should be fine running the SWG. Start at 30% and keep testing your FC level and adjust it from there to keep your FC stable where you want it.

FC creeping up 8->11.I turned off the RJ60 for now. Its crazy cold outside, the automatic pool cover is on, and and no one will be in the pool for a week. I'll check it daily.
