So it was nice this weekend and I decided to test the pool water while I was sitting in the spa. Is it ok to rinse the test cylinders in the pool? Seems like the volume of water is tiny compared to a 20k gallon pool

Reagents should be disposed of in the sink. After that, ok to rinse in pool if you want.
Pool rinsing is technically not perfect but it works just fine. Like you say, the volume is miniscule

I toss the reagents into the bushes before I dunk the vials in the pool to rinse them.
When I go inside I may clean them with fresh water if I remember.
