Rheem heat pump issues

My heat pump is about 9 years old and up until this year has been great. We only run our heater half the year and this year when we cut it in it only heats the water about 2 degrees a day during 8 hours of run time. Outside temperature is around 80.The filter is clean, the coils are clean and the water flow is good. The air coming out of the top is 9-10 degrees cooler than the outside temperature but only on one side, the otherside(on top) is only about 3 degrees cooler. We have a 15000 gallon inground pool and a rheem heat pump.
I would appreciate any advice that anyone can give me.
Thanks

A Heat Pump is an AC system in reverse. My guess your HP is low on refrigerant. It is the same reason an AC system will not cool well. Have an AC repair person check the pressures and refrigerant levels on the HP.
