Good morning, and thanks for having me! I am currently under construction for a 17x33 kidney liner pool built with with graphex composite wall polymer pool panels in my backyard. I live in SE Pa. I have attached pics of the project. My backyard is elevated roughly 3’ above my back patio and house. I do not have a basement. The patio wall is 44’ long and 32 inches high and made of EP Henry block. The patio is 13’ wide and is made of EP Henry pavers. The pool will sit 30’ from the house ( 17’ from the wall ) at the shallow end, and 29’ from the house (16’ from the wall ) at the deep end. There are overhead power/electric lines on the back and right side of the pool which sit 20’ away from the pool respectively. So, onto my question. My PB believes that 17’ away from that retaining wall is more than sufficient and will not be a concern, as far as putting too much pressure on the wall, etc. I guess I’m just looking for thoughts on this pool to retaining wall ratio, and/or any concerns, I may be missing,, suggestions are welcome as I’m brand new to this and quite overwhelmed right now,,thanks!
