Finally finished resurfacing. They did a pretty harsh acid bath for 24-36 hrs (maybe ph near zero) to unify the color on my darker (Tropics Blue) surface, which made a significant difference for the good.

They then raised Ph to just under 7 by adding a LOT of Baking Soda. Then added muriatic and chlorine for the first time.

3 days later these are my numbers:
TA 110
CL 6.4
Ph. 7.2

CL a little high. But I'd rather be high out of the gate than low; and we're in FL.

Seems about what I expected, but water is still a bit cloudy - they claim it takes time for the baking soda to fully disolve.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
JC

How much baking soda? Those test numbers came from a TFP endorsed kit?
