Had my pool resurface with Pinch Penny in CUTLER BAY FL…crew came in replaced waterline tile, did acid wash before bond agent added & after diamond brite, my pool was in pretty good shape since last resurface in 2012, The problem is a stain 11”x4” on pool floor before water added 12 days later still is very noticeable pinch owner keeps says he is sure will go away, keeps telling me the plaster cures at different rates. I understand that, but this is not moving. Pool store did all the chemicals to balance everything for the first six days and I went in just Monday to check the water and everything shows OK they even added a metal inhibitor before adding water, any thought on how to make mark go away? Or just wait pool company says don’t worry…see that white bar in picture they used not sure what it was but this is the size of the marking

Welcome to TFP.

It is difficult to follow the timeline in your post.

Was there 12 days between the time the pool was plastered and the pool was filled with water?

What am I looking at in this picture? Is this after the plaster was applied?

It is hard to tell in this small picture which areas bother you. Posting larger picture might help as well as circling the areas.

At this point, what you see is what you get. It will not change or cure differently.

You can try sanding an area with 80/100 grit wet/dry sandpaper and see if it removes the stained layer of plaster and what color is revealed. Or use a diamond polishing pad as described in Plaster Installation and Maintenance - Further Reading
