My motor has seized up (Century B2854, mnf. 2018). I still need to fully diagnose but assuming it's not just a blockage and needs replacing, will just a motor and gokit be all I need? The kit has the following: pump shaft seal, lid o-ring, backplate o-ring, and diffuser o-ring. If everything else looks good upon inspection, is there anything else I should replace? Also, I intend to purchase the same motor. Is the Century B2854 a good option?

The Go-Kit should take care of it. The shaft seal may be the basic model, so some owners chose to upgrade to a more premium seal from someplace like U.S. Seals, but with the Go-Kit you should be good.
Somewhere along the line of disassembling everything the motor became unseized. I didn't notice any debris. The bearings sound fine. The capacitor is holding the correct charge. Everything else looks fine. Going to replace the seals and reassemble. Hopefully, it works and I don't have to buy a new motor. Any idea what might have been the problem?

How did you determine that the motor was seized?

How did you test the capacitor?

Try a new capacitor.

Can you show pictures of everything?
It was humming, no pumping. I couldn't turn the impeller from the front like it normally does. I also couldn't turn the shaft from the rear. I did a capacitance test that read 28.3, which was within the 30UF + or - 6% listed on the capacitor. There's also no swelling.

About halfway through taking it all apart (I think it was after removing the impeller and shaft screw), it turned freely all of a sudden. I don't have pics atm but will take some tomorrow if necessary.
