Trying to make my life easier for replacing the liner next year. I'm thinking I could drain most or all of the water out at the end of this season, clear out the pipes and cover. I'd still fill lower drain pipes with a bit of anti-freeze to ensure that new water doesn't kill the pipes. Are there any gotchas with having an empty liner pool over the winter? I'm thinking of how the water keeps the liner in place and pressure against the walls. That being gone, am I risking anything? I could drain next year but I'd be draining a murky mess. My pool never survives the winter without coming up green.
Thanks!
