Replacing a 1hp water feature pump with a 2hp pump?

The water feature pump uses a 1 hp motor. I have an extra 2hp motor that I could use.

The water feature has never worked since we bought the house two years ago. It has three jets pointing up. Pic attached.

What would happen if I hook up a 2hp motor to a water feature instead of a 1hp motor? I’m guessing a higher, stronger water steam. We’re in a flight path so checking ahead of time. /s

Take the impeller out of the 1 hp and put in the 2 hp. That will make it pump the same amount of flow as the old pump.
