We have the original filter which is a Baker Hydro (Baker II Series) Model HR-24 (1993 install). It is leaking below the multiport (white part), an inch above the clamp. Pool Store says filter is obsolete and must be replaced. (waiting on cost estimate) but we will probably not replace it. Does anyone have a different solution or a suggestion for repair to slow the leak? We will probably not use the pool after this season. Also we have a Jandy RayVac filter for the Polaris 360 and that has a leak (has been putty-patched, but leaking again). Pool Store has same answer: obsolete. Thanks for any advice. Also for any advice about removing the pool - TFP needs a "deconstruction" thread!!

I think you will find no sealant will resist the water pressure in the filter. Replace it or live with the leak.
