Replacement grips and cam locks for older extension poles?

I need to replace the grips and cam lcks on 2 pool poles.

Hi, It is time to replace the grips and cam locks for two pool poles. I ordered the parts on Amazon, but they did not fit. The grips said 1-1/8" which should have fit that end, but I could not get the grips off. I could not remove the cam locks either. The brush ends of the poles have an interior diameter of 1.25" and the exterior male part of the cam lock measures 1.5".

So, how do I get the old parts off without bending the poles? Are they glued on?

Where can I find the parts that fit? If the part is listed as 1 1/8", is that interior dimension, exterior dimension, or does it mean the part fits a 1 1/8" exterior dimension pole?
