I have an old Jandy RS6 controller (photo below) and I would like to see what my options are for updating it. We are painting the interior of our house and my wife would like to have a controller that is white to match the new color.

We recently added the iAquaLink 3.0 (iQ30) device, so we have the upgraded RS unit now.

It looks like this type of controller is obsolete. What replacement options would we have? I like using the iAquaLink app on my phone, but it's nice to be able to use the mounted controller as well.

You have the Aqualink All Button Control Panel. It has been replaced by the One Touch Control Panel.

When you see the price of the One Touch, you will be happy to keep your existing All Button.
You can also find new All Button controls, usually in the range of $500.00 and usually for an RS16 as there weren't a lot of those actually sold. They will work with your RS6, you'll just have a bunch of unused buttons. I installed one for a customer about 2 years ago that he purchased through WalMart.com.

In the manual it looks like that ivory bezel is easily removable. How about doing that and giving it a couple careful coats of white spray paint plus a cleaning? An alternative is some kind sleek white cover box. Or maybe making a recess in the wall with a flush cover. Multi-hundreds of $$ to change color doesn't seem worth it? But a happy spouse is good.
