We’re renovating our pool and adding a spa. The deck and coping is remaining as-is.

Tile is NPT Rustic Jules and the finish is Wet Edge Glossy Black. We ordered several samples from Wet Edge and submerged them on our shelf, looking at them on sunny days, cloudy days, dusk and dawn.

I LOVE your yard and house! Those doors leading out to the pool are purrfect!

With that pretty BLING tile you need to think what color of mortar you want them to use. It will change how the clear tiles look. Then you get to think about what color grout to use. If you use white it will make each tile pop. If you use gray it will blend them in together. See if you can get your hands on grout color sticks to see which color you like the best. I am leaning towards a med gray for this tile.

Now a word of caution on that dark plaster. IF it is done right it will be oh so pretty BUT (bet you saw that coming) if it is not done perfect it can mottle. Here is a link to some reading for you to do to learn how to get the best plaster job on your pool:

Make sure to ask any and all questions you might have!

Demolition begins- the pavers are sitting on sand which is over the previous concrete pool deck. Most of them are reusable.

So jealous of those guys in Tshirts. Were freezing our butts off here and wet too.
It’s been pretty comfortable. Mid 40s as the sun comes up some days and others in the 80s.
Our existing pool shell was thicker than the builder was expecting, so that’s a good thing.
