Removing housing for Hanning motor

I have a Hanning 1.5 HP variable speed motor. I am trying to change the bearings on. I managed to get all the bolts off including the weird strut bolts. The housing still does not wanna come out easily. I do not want to break a safety pin or washer by using too much force.
Is there a mechanism that locks the bearing on these like on some newer century motors? There is a hole on the bottom. I wonder if it is designed to slide in a screwdriver. Any help would be appreciated. TY

Good morning and welcome to TFP! I've not heard of that model before. Let's shoot up a signal to @1poolman1 to see if he's come across that model in the field. Stand by......

Not sure what pump that is. Looks like a motor used on a Hayward Max-Flo VSP pump. Have never taken one completely apart, but I know the fan must be removed to get any further in the process. That's what stopped me and I was just curious about the process as the motor was completely un-salvageable, so I went no further and recycled the motor. Tapping on the front end bell with a rubber mallet may force the fan off the shaft and allow the motor to separate. That's TAPPING, not hammering.
