Pool built in 2008 - Hayward. 2014 - 1st replacement motor on pump. 2018 pump motor went out - replaced motor and seal invoice says the brand was Jandy. March 2020 pump quick running - had it replaced Invioce says Regal. October it was leaking, they said mechanical seal failed and replace that ( of course out of warranty) August 2021 - again came out and replaced pump and seal. Friday I go in the backyard and notice the pool is not on. I check and when I hit the switch the motor hums, but nothing, so I put in on service mode and left a message at the pool company. It does not seem like these motors should be failing so often. I am wondering if there is a different problem, are they using inferior pumps? seals?
