Recommend me a cartridge filter size

going on info in my signature what size cartridge filter do you recommend . Im thinking of changing the 20 year old original sand filter for a newbie that can filter a little finer

also my new dolphin x30 has been the best pool purchase ever!!!

Depends, I guess, how much debris gets into your pool. I have dozens of trees close to my pool. I had a Pentair 150 sf cartridge filter that did the job but I was having to clean the filters every few months. Worse time was spring when heavy pollen would clog the filter in a matter of weeks. I just remodeled my pool and installed a Pentair 520 sf cartridge filter. The filter was able to filter out all the plaster dust and the filter pressure only increased 2psi. My advice is go as big as space and budget allow. A150 sf filter would work for you but concerning filters in my opinion larger capacity is better.
