Ready for the Slam and need guidance PLEASE.

Ok so I ended posting results with the test at 4:45 in earlier post here is an update:
5:45 FC 9 added recommended bleach
6:15 FC 10
6:30 FC 8.5 added rec bleach
6:53 FC 9. added rec bleach
7:15 FC 9.5 added rec bleach
CC 2.5
CYA 25
TA 110
7:35 FC 9
I am adding recommended bleach again to reach 10 ppm.
My question is it’s getting dark do I keep it up all nt or what happens if I stop til morning?

You can stop testing every 15 minutes now. Tomorrow add enough CYA to reach 30ppm. That should be about 1 3/4 cups of dry CYA. Put the CYA in an old sock and lay it in the skimmer. Keep the pump running until it is dissolved.
After adding CYA your new FC level will be 12ppm. Add enough chlorine to reach 12ppm then test/dose every 2 hours until dark. Continue the 2 hour test/dose cycle . Once the FC only drops 1-2ppm over the course of 2 hours you can lengthen the test/dose cycle to every 4 hours.

You mentioned something about foaming. It was likely from the amonia / FC reaction, but it is worth mentioning that the liquid chlorine you get should NOT have any additives in it. Non scented, not splashless, NO chloromax technology, no polymers, no special stuff. The chloromax is known for making the water foam.
Best if you can get the 10% liquid chlorine from the pool section at WalMart. This seems to be one of the best way to get it. Just make sure that the correct percentage is used in the Pool Math calculator.

Thank you for your response. I did make sure on the bleach I have been using. If I need to buy more than I have on hand I will take your suggestion on the 10% liquid chlorine from Walmart.

Ok I have been back at it today and adding the pool calculator suggested amount each time testing every 15 min the last 4 times I have maintained 9.5. Should I add more bleach than recommended to reach shock level of 10? Also have added cya in skimmer this morning. When I first checked I was at 20. When should I check that again?

Vacuuming is good to pick up dead algae. Brushing is very important and should be done at least daily.
