I have a Raypak model 6450 pool heater, installed in 2021. This year, when I started it up, it came up with “coil sensor fail”. We have carefully cleaned all of the fins, inside and out and reset the sensor by unplugging for 5 minutes, but the code keeps returning. Any ideas?

The coil sensor is a temperature sensor that tells the Heat Pump when to initiate a defrost cycle.
Likely yours has failed and needs to be replaced. Or a wire came loose or broke.
