Raypak 206A sensor failure

So, I got this sensor failure on my Raypak 206A pool heater and the temp readout was 90 degrees but it was cold. I removed the sensor and it was badly corroded. I replaced the sensor and immediately the temp read it was 54 degrees and the heater sparked, started heating! The problem is now (24 hrs later) it's reading only 66 degrees. I opened the cover and noticed steam coming off the water, stepped in and it was like bath water. Using my meat thermometer, it read 93 degrees! So, now what do I do; is there a way to calibrate it or just set the temp in the mid 50s?
