Spa/pool heater
Propane/ atmospheric unit
when I turn on spa
I get a CFH call for heat
Pilot lights....... but SPK is still displayed
min later I get ignition lockout burner never lights
Ops manual page 45 has a trouble shoot
I get to test mv-mv/pv I pull the purple and yellow wires and test for ac, I get a spike when spark goes off and zero in between sparks
am testing wrong? ..............manual say replace module is this simply the pilot assembly with ignitor?
How does this thing know the pilot is lit? ...............the only wire to the pilot is the blue ignitor wire (Honeywell pilot) I don't see any sensor
As I type and read the manual I'll back up one and test the step prior also..........Check for 24 VAC across PV-MV/PV terminals on PC board. If voltage is okay,
replace gas control; if not, replace PC board.
NOTE: If PC board goes into lockout, reset system
have reset system power supply off
burner only had one small dirt dobber plug..cleaned it
Thanks for the help headed out of town will check pool school forum and test again later in the week
