Rayner mesh safety cover?

Could use some help here. Just finishing up our first pool season. Now time to buy a cover. My builder uses Merlin and will be getting me a quote shortly. I went to poolcoversdirect.com and they had someone come out and measure and provide a quote on their “mighty mesh” product. It was 4500 for cover and install. I have a free form 750sqft pool with raised spa and waterfalls. Can anyone comment on their products? I know Merlin is great, but I’m sure Rayner will be cheaper

I have no data points on Rayner, nor had I ever heard of them on here. I have a Merlin SmartMesh which I can vouch for as high quality after 5 seasons. No visible wear yet.

Some of it also comes down to how each cover brand and installer will handle your raised spa and rock wall. They may provide different ways to protect the covers underneath and also attach differently. Ours has an extra layer of cover material attached to the underside all round that extends towards the water and therefore provides abrasion resistance from the coping when snow is weighing/pulling the cover down to the water.

This company, Raynor, uses a cable system that keeps it tight around the rocks and spa. Still waiting on info/quote from Merlin. But my builder hinted it would be at least 50% more than my 4500 quote and that nobody could do it 4500. Obviously they want the sale but don’t think they can match the price
