Rainwater Running I to pool!!!

I have an in-ground pool where rainwater is carrying trash into the pool at the steps area. Has anyone else had the problem and how did you fix it? Concrete diverted? Rubber bumper?

The steps entering the pool are just slightly lower lower and allow the water to enter pool Carrington trash and dirt.

Sounds like it's time for sandbags.

If you don't have any sandbags laying around the house, take your pool towels and roll them up longways and use them to build a dam. Wet towels are pretty darn heavy.

I had chronic problems like that, until I invested in a French drain system and channel drain near the pool pad. Not cheap, but money well spent, as I was in danger of losing the concrete pool deck due to sinking. That fix seems to have arrested the sinking and cracking, and the only rainwater entering the pool falls directly from the sky!
