I would like to purchase the larger size (.25 lbs. vs. 10 grams) of the Taylor DPD powder to save some money, but I will not use the entire amount this year. Will this powder still be effective if it is stored over the winter or will it go bad? Thanks.

The powder can go bad. So it might work into next year, or it might not. Once it starts to darken, it is no longer any good.
