is there an obvious result when your R-004 reagent is no longer accurate? I just tested my PH and the result is a fluorescent pink. Like off the chart pink. It can’t be right. Is this a sign my reagent is no good? It is 2 seasons old so starting my 3rd season with it. There is no best before date on the bottle.

If you are going into season three with the same reagents, it's time to replace them all. Taylor branded reagents have had expiration dates on them for a few years now. If yours doesn't have an expiration date, it is more than two or three years old.

You should be replacing reagents yearly. If properly stored indoors ina controlled environment, you might get two years/seasons out of them.
