my system is controller by an aqualink panel inside the home. let's say the panel is set for 80 degrees pool heat, does this number cross over to the panel on the heater itself? im thinking no, here's why. the aqualink has a pool temp sensor installed, so that shows on the panel. my thought is the aqualink monitors the pool water temp, when it hits, it simple powers off the heater. is this correct? i'm not sure how this thing is wired, but the panel controls all of it. thanks.

Correct.

yes

Correct. The Aqualink cycles the heater as necessary based on its water temperature sensor.

The heater controls should be set to 104F and should not regulate the heater.
