Thank you for your feedback on the PoolMath app update. We understand that adjusting to new interfaces can take time, and we’re here to help you navigate these changes.
Regarding your concern about entering Cyanuric Acid (CYA) and its integration when calculating Free Chlorine (FC) additions, please note that this process hasn’t changed with the update. To ensure that CYA is consistently factored in:
1. Logging Full Test Results: Make sure to enter a complete set of test results, including CYA, in your logs. This will keep the relevant fields updated. To log your test results, follow these steps:
• Open the app and tap on the ‘+’ icon at the bottom of the Overview page.
• Select “Log Test Results.”
• Enter your test values, including CYA, and then tap the checkmark at the top right corner to save the data.
2. Using Preset Data for FC Adjustments: When you log a complete set of test results, the app automatically uses these values for subsequent calculations, such as determining the amount of chlorine needed based on your CYA levels.
Additionally, we recommend visiting the App Store to check for the latest update, which should address the rounding issue you’ve encountered with chlorine additions.
