Quick add for links ?

Is there a way to put shortcuts to links in posts other than what’s available under the little symbol?
I know there are several people who frequently use ones that aren’t listed there & was wondering if there’s a shortcut I don’t know about other than searching, copying, & pasting the ones I use frequently.

I just do as you ...copy & paste. For links to non-TFP things use the little paper clip looking link (two left from the smiley face)

These quick links are ones setup behind the scenes on the software and are the same forum-wide. If there’s a certain article or link you think also could be included let me know and I’ll look into adding it.

If you want to save custom links, at least to forums posts, one way is to bookmark the post. Then you can go to your bookmarks tab and hit the gear and there is a “copy link” button.

For example I have my Ahh-Some purge linked as I give it as an example often enough: 26' Intex - Planning, Install, Upgrades, and Landscaping Thread

I changed browsers recently (trying new things) & don’t have any book marks saved but I think I will start as I find myself copying & pasting some of the same ones frequently. It gets tumultuous having 42 tabs of tfp open & i’m sure it’s putting the server through it’s paces
I just didn’t know if there was a way I was missing. Some of the actions befuddle me so I don’t venture too far from what I know

For instance- I have been stuck inside a quote box several times unable to escape so i shy away from that function.

Make things slightly easier on yourself while you surf TFP and save your favorite threads right on the forum. This way you can access them regardless what device you’re on.

No, I mean bookmarked within TFP, as Leebo outlined. You can access your bookmarks without leaving the tab you are currently on! For example, here’s my bookmarks, screenshot taken while I was writing this post without leaving this tab. All through the TFP forum interface:

Also usually I don’t have a problem with quotes even on mobile, and then today making this reply I both got stuck inside a quote like @Mdragger88 said, and was unable to select specific text in a post to do a multi-quote. I suspect something in the new text select feature on the latest iOS update is fighting with the forum software…

I saved a ton of links to a word document and copy and paste from there. I have them organized by category.
