Question - Reusing Muriatic acid/water mix

I have a lot of minerals in my water, especially copper. Just made my 1st batch of muriatic acid/water (1:20) ratio to clean my spa filters. My question is, can I reuse the mixture and if so, how many times? I made 5 gallons.

Welcome to TFP Carl,

Hard to say really. Did you get much of a reaction when the dirty filters were in it? See how it does on the next round, compare it to the first time and go from there. Doesn't sound like you're using much Acid if you wanted to make a fresh batch each time anyway.

Thanks, there was no foaming action at all, but I soaked the filter for 24 hours and it came really clean. Will try another in the same solution.
