We are going to be adding travertine pavers to an existing concrete deck.
I realized we have weepholes in our brick veneer that are currently at the grade of the concrete deck, so when we add pavers then the bottom half of the weep hole would be covered. I believe the top of the weephole would still be exposed - it’s almost 4” tall. Picture attached
Is this an issue? Or if they use polymeric sand is that porous enough for the water to seep thru and disperse? If it is an issue what would be the alternative option?
Hopefully something that doesn’t involved tearing out the brick to redo the flashing, or not adding pavers.
