PVC to auto-fill cannister

Hi everyone,

I'm digging a trench to run a line from my water supply to the auto-fill canister in the pool deck. Is there a particular type of piping I should use?

Mine was installed by the builder using standard SCH 40 3/4" PVC. If the supply line you're connecting to is street pressure, make sure you install a regulator.

Need to have an anti-siphon valve (sprinkler valve) as the supply to the autofill. Normal house pressure should not pose a problem. The valve internal to the autofill is most likely a slightly modified toilet valve. If it is a float valve, just turn the anti-siphon valve down if there is a problem. No need for anything special.
