For those of you that have put up your own pools, how long did it take you to put up just the wall and how many people did it? Wife and I want to get the wall up this evening but only have a couple hours to do it and just the 2 of us. The ground work is complete and the bottom track is in place already. Trying to determine if we should wait till i have a day off.

Cheers!

Probably a bit lit but I did mine with my wife and 14 yr old in about 9 hours. The wall part alone maybe took 2-3 hours at most. That was with adjusting all the rails by hand (they wouldn't slide). I had my son basically hold the starting point the whole time then my wife and I fed it into the track taking turns at each job. I used stakes with string and clamps to help keep the wall upright. The rest of the time was dispersing the sand, attaching a foam cove and then installing the liner.

I believe it is recommended to get the liner in and water going in on the same day you put up the wall just so you don't risk it falling or bending if there is wind. I think others have done it in 2 days though so it may be possible if the wall is secured enough. I would never trust my own luck for that that.

Neither my husband nor I can remember how we got our pool walls up ourselves 12 years ago. It must have been a very traumatic experience. LOL! He did remember there was no way the 2 of us did it in a few hours.
So I think you need to wait until you can take a day off and get 1 or 2 other people to help. Wishing the best for you.

I did it with my wife and two children. It cannot be windy. You will need tent spike, rope, and hangers. You can see how we did it in my sig. But I repeat, it cannot be windy. Personally I would not leave it overnight. We got it up and water in it in about a day.
Looked at your post from your build. What a great job! Very nice.
