Purex Minimax 250 (IID) Pressure Switch

I am replacing the pressure switch on a pretty old Minimax 250 (IID) pool heater.

The factory manual says I should buy replacement part #071580 (picture below), but this goes for over $75 online.

Wondering if any of the experts can confirm that I am relatively safe to use some of the cheaper plastic minimax replacement pressure switches 473605 or 470190 as they appear to be exactly the same and are 1/3 the price.

No reason why you can't, just make sure it comes with the adapter to compression fitting

I purchased the techmarc as suggested, but unfortunately both the diameter of the connector, as well as the thread spacing is different.

Any other part numbers that might fit? Maybe the 473605 or 470190 as I notice these seem similar?

Go to your HD or other big box store and get an adapter. 1/4" MIP x 1/8" FIP. I usually get one made by Watts A-738. USe a little teflon tape on the threads that go into the manifold.
