Purchasing heaters - local vs online

I need to replace two 400K Pentair heaters. My preference is to buy local, but some of the online options look like I could save $3000+. I know many of them are not authorized dealers, so I don't want to go down that route. Pentair has gone to great lengths to not allow their authorized network to market and sell at a discount online.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for an authorized "bulk" dealer or "online" dealer for Pentair heaters? Thanks in advance.

Pool supplies 4 less in Moorpark has the standard 400k btu mastertemp for 2999 or the 400k HD for 3399 if you pickup in store. I purchased my vsp pumps from them (drove from SD county) early last year when it was impossible to find them.
