Hello
I seem to have a unique issue with our easy touch panel. First, the LCD is difficult to read, panel box in direct Az sun all year long, but I can read it enough to set the parameters. I've set it to run from 9pm to 6am but at 6am it does not shut off. I have confirmed there is only one schedule in the programming (1/1) and no Spa or other features activated. Additionally, the screen on the Pentair Intelliflow pump is lit but blank and I am reading up on how to fix that known issue. Are these issues related?

Welcome to the forum!
Check to be sure the ET is not in Service Mode and the pump is using its own board scheduler.
I assume you cannot read the pump screen as you say it is blank. Normally, it should say Display Not Active if the ET is in control.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Pool School eBook

TRL,

Can you change the pump's speed using the EasyTouch?

I don't believe that the two issues are related.. The pump's display should never be off unless the display is bad, or the pump has no power.. Since the pump is running, it has to be a bad display or display circuity...

Thanks,

Jim R.

Yes I can change the speed on the Easy Touch, it just wont turn off as scheduled and I've deleted and reprogrammed numerous times. Am I going to have to replace the entire Easy Touch?

OK -- then there is another schedule being run. I know you have only one for Pool. What about under the AUX or Feature circuits?

TRL,

It could be possible that the board in your ET is bad, but I doubt it..

The pump will only run if it is being told to run... Either there is a schedule you can't see, or you have pushed the pump/filter button and it is running on the 12 hour default egg timer..

I suggest you push the "reset" button the main panel.. This just reboots the system, like you do with a computer, it will not delete anything..

Everything should shut off and it will take a few minutes for things to start back up.. Just be patient..

If you reset outside the normal pump run time, the pump will not start until the next time it is scheduled. If you reset inside the pump run time, it should start up...

Try that and tell us what happens.

Thanks,

Jim R.

When you are in Schedules - is the Mode Schedule or Egg Timer?
Ok, I've confirmed its not on egg timer. It looked like there might be 2 programs in SPA but we don't have a spa, never have. I un-highlighted every day (lowercase smtwtfs) to try and override it turning on and I have deleted them and the pump turns off suddenly, then turns back on a minute later.
