Pump still on during cold nights?

My pool won't be closed for a couple more weeks and I currently have the pump running at 1700 rpm from 6:00 am-1:00 am to help keep the leaves out. It is going to get below 32 at night for the next few days. Do I need to turn my pump off or leave it running 24/7 until we close? Will it freeze overnight if it's not running?

It pretty much has to get well below freezing point and STAY there a good while before any actual damage usually. I assume this is just short a short period of time over night only? I'd consider a timer so you can split up run times.
