Sorry, I forgot to respond to this. Right now it's a Hayward Super Pump. Basically this one but older and without the added cap on top.

So that is an up rated 1 HP and has the impeller SPX2607C. You could go up a size with that VS motor to a SPX2610C. The larger impeller would be more efficient and quieter at the same flow rate.
