Hello, I upgraded AGP pool to 12’x22’ and it came with a solar mat. This mat was suppose to be hooked up to the pump, however the location is not optimal. So I have the solar heater on the other side that is sun facing for most of the day. I wanted to run this on a separate pump, but not sure what size pump ??
The solar mat is 93”x48”, I contacted the maker and asked what is the best flow rate through the solar heater for optimal heating, they said sorry we don’t have those specs ???? Lol
I have a 1000GPH and a 650GPH pump, wondering if one of these is enough or will the water flow too fast through the mat and not heat up ?
