Pump Motor Noise Diagnosis?

I think I am asking for a lot but, is this a bad bearing noise? If so, how do I find the right bearings so I can do it myself?
The pool service person, new to me, says the pump is circulating water properly, and just let the motor run as it is until it dies, which doesn't feel right to just throw away things, plus my daughter, the owner of the pool/house, is on a tight budget right now.

Don't have the puller or the pipe, but can buy them. Can you recommend a puller size and style?
I can get a new motor and gasket kit for around $500 plus my labor, but if the noise sounds like the bearings, I'd like to go that way. The pump filter equipment is about 8 years old and looks very good from the outside.
I will check the impeller with a screwdriver through the pot cavity, also.
