Greetings all....I'm hoping to get some help with figuring out why my pump strainer basket loses water every time I shut the pump off. It's never done this before and I just replaced the O-ring on the clear lid and that didn't help. The pump self primes when it comes on but somethings not right. I recently had the pump changed but only the motor. The rest of the whisperflo is original. Is there any way that could be a problem? Thanks in advance!!!

No visible water coming out except when it shuts off. There's a small burst of water that that shoots out of the lid and that's it. Have heard that's common but not sure. I have it on pretty tight.
