Pump is relatively new ( 1 year old ) and for this test was only connected to the vacuum line in the pool.
Pump is switched on and begins pumping once prime is established (16 psi at the Hayward filter) but then after 5-10 min the pressure decreases and the pump appears to lose prime as psi decreases due to low water flow…
Is this due to possible air leak in the vacuum line from the pool to the pump? Line is 2” PVC and is underground…
I am trying to determine if there is an air leak in one of the 3 lines from the pool ( skimmer, main drain or vacuum ).
