Pump loses some prime when solar kicks on

I had no air in the system, full suction on the Goby vac and skimmer doing fine. But when the solar kicks on, I get about 2 inches of air in the pump basket, and then skimmer and vacuum lose some suction. I tried powering off and re-priming, but I don't get a good prime with the solar on. Any suggestions?

Please post pics of your pool equipment and pipes and valves so we can see your flow from the pump through your solar system.
