Pressure has consistently ran 14 to 14.5 but is now up to 18. What do I need to look for?

When filter pressure rises 20-25% over the clean pressure it is time to clean the filter. It looks like you have a sand filter so you would need to backwash.
Yes I do backwash but rise in pressure returns. Sand was changed out early summer at end of bacqua conversion.
How long does it take for the pressure to rise again? Is the backwash water dirty when you do it?

If it's rising back up quicker than you think it should, you may have an underlying chemistry problem. Please post a full set of current test results from your K2006 testkit.
