I just finished cleaning star brite pool filter and during process the screen on air bleed tube crack , so I duck taped it. It ran normal till I did a check on PSI and it ran up 15 points . Any thoughts on issue? I bled line at top of filter .

Have to be honest I have never heard of a 'star brite' filter brand. Google fails to find one too. Can you take a picture of the label and post it?
