Problem with Pentair Easy Touch

The first step is to determine which pump you have (age) and which cable it's using to connect to your automation. Refer to the article Marty gave you in post #18, the part about the cable colors and the wiring sticker. See if you have that sticker installed. What color is the cable?

I have an ET 4 Lite panel at a different property that has hung like this after a brief power outage on a few occasions (monsoons in Phoenix).

Relay 2 for me is engaged which is my light and the intelliflo operates in stand alone mode until the ET is rebooted. Filter relay (relay 1) is not engaged and neither is 3. I have nothing connected to 4 so not sure if it’s status.

Maybe the same relay is active and controls your waterfall or the pump starts running a standalone program while the RS485 link is down?

Now I’m thankful it just turns my light on…

Hopefully this helps. I always assumed it was a bad boot of the firmware due to power flickering (I’m a SW engineer so that’s how I think about things)

Maybe put a surge protector on it?
